Originally from Long Island, NY, Dr. Andrea Luise headed to Old Dominion University in Virginia, where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Chemistry. She began her Chiropractic studies at Life University in Georgia then transferred and graduated Cum Laude from Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, TX. She returned to Virginia to direct a successful practice in Richmond prior to moving to Austin and opening Lakeway Spine Center in 2005.
Dr. Andrea is certified to perform Acupuncture and has completed post-graduate education courses regarding Fibromyalgia, Functional Endocrinology and Nutritional Supplementation. Additionally, she has a certification in Physiotherapeutic Modalities. Her areas of expertise include Pediatrics, Expecting Mothers, Post-Natal Care and Family Wellness Care.
Dr. Andrea is Nationally Board Certified in Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression. Dr. Andrea is usually training for her next race, running 1/2 and full marathons. She’s the proud mom of Eliza, who keeps her on her toes! She loves her career and is thankful to work with her patients and helping them evolve toward better health!
Karlie Kirchner, LMT, is a graduate of The Lauterstein-Conway Massage School and is skilled in several modalities such as Swedish, Deep massage (The Lauterstein method), Sports therapy, and Prenatal massage.
Here at Lakeway Spine Center, Karlie is one of our full-time therapists and has been practicing Massage Therapy since 2010. Karlie specializes in clinical bodywork, working with chronic neck, back, rotator cuff and hip issues for many of the patients here at LSC.
Karlie’s love for anatomy, combined with a heart centered approach to her profession, places her clients at ease as they learn about their body and its amazing ability to heal. As a patient at LSC, you can be sure that you will be treated with dignity and respect as Karlie works with you to tailor your session so that you gain the maximum benefits from every visit.
In her free time, Karlie enjoys the outdoors with her son and volunteering at the Central Texas Outpatient clinic for Veterans like herself.
Bianca Hornedo, LMT
Licensed Massage Therapist
Bianca has had a passion for massage from a young age. She is from Denver, Colorado but moved to Austin after serving eight years in the Army. She attended one of the best massage therapy schools in the nation, The Lauterstein-Conway Massage School. She has been massaging since 2015 and believes in a strong mind-body connection that enhances her client’s mobility and overall quality of life.
Bianca’s goal is to facilitate healing by assessing problem areas and working the deeper layers of fascia. She is an educated and talented individual who cares about helping her patients heal and feel whole.
She specializes in Trigger Point Therapy, Deep Cross-Frictional Work, Sports Massage, and Orthopedic Work directed toward specific pain or ailments, all the while making it relaxing, enjoyable, and effective.
In her spare time, she likes to spend time with friends by the water, exercise, and be active in her community.

Paula will be here to greet you in the mornings! She lives in Austin with her husband, son, and daughter. Her weekends are spent watching the kids play soccer and football. When she is not working, you can find her hitting the gym and spending time with her family, or working on house projects.

You’ll see Renee at our front office in the afternoons! Renee and her family moved here from Boston and love Austin! She is married to her husband Mike and has two children, Danielle and Ryan. Renee is often out walking her two dogs or taking beautiful photos in her spare time. She’ll be the one to greet you at our office Monday through Thursday.
